Fluidmaper has developed a diamond-impregnated friction washer to create a secure mating surface between the high performance viscous diesel damper and the crankshaft. This friction washer is designed to be used with the Fluidampr High Strength Bolt Kit. This additional retention helps ensure your viscous performance diesel damper stays in place.

This damper bolt and friction washer retention device are recommended to ensure that the Fluidampr Viscous Harmonic Damper stays securely mated onto the crankshaft when used on high-horsepower Duramax engines used in competition, drag racing, or pulling engines. Fluidampr 3000010 2001 to 2018 Chevrolet and GMC kits are designed as a single-use product. Fluidampr does not recommend the reuse of this product in any application!

CAUTION—Fluidampr recommends that the Fluidampr Harmonic Balancer be mounted onto the crankshaft using the 3000010 on high-horsepower engines. The installation of this Fluidampr 6.6L Duramax Friction Washer is an additional safety measure to ensure the harmonic balancer's retention on the crankshaft.

KLM Performance recommends using new mounting bolts when installing the damper for increased safety.
